Is There Anything Else With Training You Can Learn?

Question: Reading training articles, going to seminars and taking on a personal trainer. Does it help? I mean lets face it, if you want big arms you do curls, back-rows, chest-bench, etc. etc. It really isn't rocket science.

When one goes to a seminar given by some bodybuilder its practically useless. What do you actually think you're going to find out that no one else knows? They will never drop the Bodybuilding Kayfabe altogether. They actually think these bodybuilders are going to discuss their REAL doses of compounds? Yeah right, if you only knew what these guys took you'd be ragging on them like you do Bostin Loyd so they will never let out the real dosages.  So why do these people go? Is it just idol worship?

Training articles are worthless. You have to be in a gym for sometime to figure out what works for you. And by that time, why would you want to waste your time reading some article ghost written by some nobody.

Personal trainer? Why? Only if that person is cooking pharma that is worth it. If you've been in the game for years there is no need to have someone motivate and train you. In fact, I find working out with people annoying. Forced reps are basically just a lot of bullshit. You don't need them. You only see people doing them to look like the PRO's and bring the whole attention of the gym on them when they are screaming and moaning.

Training

Weights are there as tools to enable you to develop your muscles and sculpt your body.

You can pick any exercises you choose be they compound or isolation exercises.

As long as you work the muscle to failure it will respond with growth.

It doesn’t matter how many days you choose to train your body will compensate and respond to the exercise and stress its put under.

Your muscle gains are defined by your genetic potential

Natural and enhanced have differing limits but you have limits all the same.

The function of a muscle is to move a limb in a certain direction, and to stimulate it you must work it with varying degrees under tension along its length.

The muscle will respond to any exercise, there are none that are better than others.

Diet

It all depends on your goals, at the end of the day, food is just fuel for your body.

If you want to be a weightlifter and are not concerned with body composition then just eat as much as you can from the main food sources your definition of “getting to fat” is up to you.

Forget about macros and calories, its irrelevant.

If you want to stay in shape and look good then you need to watch the mirror, again calories and macros don’t matter.

Keep an eye on your abs and intercostals, if you cant see them eat less until you can.

Eat a varied and balanced diet with no less than 100gms of protein a day.

I have no clue what that means.

I'm just saying, there really isn't anything anyone can tell you (If you've been training for a long time with results) that you don't already know. Unless you are a developmentally delayed beaver YOU know your body the best and what works and what doesn't. 

Sitting in a Powerhouse Gym hoodie in a overcrowded, smelly gym listening to Branch Warren for an hour is at best counterproductive.

The way bodybuilders train, with their 15 sets for biceps, is just stupid. If you keep it simple and basic, you can lift 30-40 min 2-3 times a week and be done with it. By the time you start getting bored, the workout is over. Exercise is something you do to enhance your quality of life, but, if you spend the whole fuckin' day at it, you probably have no life.
