Why does Facebook only allow Likes?
« on: July 19, 2016, 11:39:02 AM »
Why don't they have a thumbs down?  So some bitch can get 10 likes to justify her thoughts of being fierce means it's okay to be morbidly obese?  They won't allow the 50 thumbs down she'd get in return?  It's just false justification for this fucking loser generation that only wants and hears positive reinforcement for their shitty behavior.

You're thinking of this as if it were a poll, which of course should include likes, dislikes and neutral responses. If you think of a Facebook 'like' as more of a pat on the back than a judgment, the concept works. Also, I suspect the focus on Facebook is intended to be positive and supportive.

Of course, I am coming to this conclusion base on the two Facebook pages I have. I cannot remember ever getting a negative response from any of my friends or family. People who I've not befriended cannot post comments on my personal page. I already get a good dose of negativity from some of the folks on Getbig....I'm no masochist, I don't seek negative responses.

Worrying about likes  ::). You should be worried about why you are on FB, a site for beta drama queens.
