Common core math
Aside from the usual talk show babble - coach, are you aware of the long-term advantages of using common core math?
I used to be the biggest hater of it - I had to use it nightly when reviewing homework - but wow, the way kids can use chunking, think critically, and hit multiple topics at once...
Pain in the ass to start, but it's deep across the board.
It's easy for people to shit on it. I did. But it's useful. Math becomes a wide spectrum, not a bunch of isolated tasks.
