good point....and although I hate to say this, Trayvon's mistake was also not killing Zimmerman.....then Trayvon Martin would have been alive to say that he was followed by an adult who was bigger than he was, followed him in the dark, impeded his progress by stopping him for no reason and had a gun........who would have looked like the hero then?
under florida law, you can fire if you fear for your life. an old lady can waste a BBer... and the system, and maybe jury, will decide if it was legit.
trayvon could have caved in zimmerman's head with a rock - and he would have had a prety good defense.
ZImmerman wasn't acting as neighborhood watch - he was armed which violates their protocol. and he was just coming home form Target on a rainy sunday evening, not patrolling.
zimmerman leaves his path to get on trayvon's. He is running at him with a gun, he's a trained MMA fighter with 50 pound and 10 years on him. He chases him down and confronts him hiding in the bushes.
I gurantee, any 250 pound getbigger tries this, I will turn your ass into hamburger. And I'd expect the same
Trayvon's mistake was using a fist to protect himself. If he fires a weapon or caves in the head with a rock, he's just a scared kid who retreated. Zimmerman is the angry man with 2x assault beefs already, who falsely accused trayvon of crime while calling him profane names, chasing him with a gun for 2 blocks.
