Beards are nasty...most everyone agrees here. Tattoos are pretty awesome...it's just people like Piana are associated with them.

Tattoos aren't too much of a trend. They've been around for hundreds of years. Styles of tattooing are trendy...without a doubt. Hipster douche look...never around 50 years ago. You'd get the shit kicked out of you for looking like the peckerwood pictured.

Fair point, but they are a trend and an out of control trend at that. Seems to me the phenomenon started around the time Dennis Rodman started getting heavily tatooed. Tribal tatoos on your random run of the mill white trash fuckface is WAY worse than a beard. Why the fuck do and Irish, Polish, German, Italian or any other white dude have tribal tatoos? Colorful tatoos on guys? A wise man once told me that colored tatoos are for homosexuals.
