There are COUNTLESS stories where the family pitbull attacked a member of the family, who raised the dog since day one, and treated them awesome.

Try to find a similar amount of attacks with labrador retrievers, golden retrievers, yorkies, german shephards, beagle, cocker spaniel, etc. You may be able to find similar attacks for rottweilers.
