Should Trump be disqualified for Treason?
« on: July 28, 2016, 08:21:36 AM »
I don't see how he can get away with publicly asking a foreign nation in Russia to cyber attack the USA to find emails about Hillary.  No doubt if Hillary said this the GOP would be creaming to have her arrested and sent to Guantanamo.  This morning he is saying kidding.  Fuck that shit.

It was sarcasm and obvious.

And, the coverage it's getting is just to draw attention away for the actual issue - that the DNC got hacked, and rigged the process for HRC.

The f'n head of the DNC had to resign before the convention FFS, and it's already been forgotten.

YOU should be more concerned that Hillary had her lawyers delete 33,000 emails, many of which were classified and they did not have the security clearance to have in their possession. And who deletes something if they are innocent  ??? ??? ???

It was well played by Trump. Nothing will happen, because he has enough plausible deniability built into it (He's joked about Russia all week). Also, it drew people away from any democrat talk for much of the morning and afternoon yesterday. It also allows him to keep bringing up the Hillary and DNC email scandals, which only works to his advantage.

Trump is winning the social media game by a large margin.

Really?  So is it Ok for a potential POTUS to be sarcastic about asking a country to attack the USA?  So if he said they're going to nuke NK, then later said kidding?  It's this shit coming out of his mouth that's going to fuck shit up bad.

Seriously? For a joking comment made by a man holding no political office as of yet. Let's talk about the many known illegal acts committed by the ever corrupt Killary whom was holding high ranking seats in our government at the time.. Think about it.

No where did I even mention Hillary being innocent. She's just as dirty, but Trump can't be saying shit like that then a day later saying "kidding".

Sure he can, he holds no seat of power now. Remember Reagan joking about Russia, we bomb in five minutes comment.

Today he called in everywhere to say "I was just kidding".

Kinda like when someone cops that Nelly line about asking his chick for a 3 way.  "I'm just kidding... unless you wanna do it!"

At this point, the only people defending Trump are the ones without that much depth of understanding of politics, history, and international relations.  This week, Trump promised to stop NATE helping the nations Russia is attacking, which will certainly help Russian power grow.  He called Putin a better president than obama, and said that putin killing off journalists was a sign of strength (just today on Morning Joe).   He also asked a foreign adversary, in time of war, to release 30,000 stolen emails containing classified info which puts our troops at risk, to benefit him politically with the promise of better treatment by our press.

At this point, I cannot debate with Trump supporters using logic/rational thought, because if they still support him, they're not doing so based upon logic or rational thought.  It's emotion for them.  And you can't debate emotion.

Suppose tomorrow, Hilary "jokes" about executing all gun owners or perhaps adding Sharia law to the constitution.

She's a private citizen holding no office, making a "joke".    Nobody would take that shit as a joke.

(and trump admits many shady payoffs to get his way, which nullifies your moral equivalency argument regarding hilary)

240, after all of this, do you still think Trump is a democratic plant?

The DNC Blames Russia for the Hack

Trump asks Russia for more to be released, in a sarcastic tone.

"Trump is committing treason."

so corrupt. breach of national security. blah blah blah....

 ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

I've heard all about Trump this week, hardly any mentions about the DNC convention (except Bernie-shit, white house slaves, and paying to fill the arena).

Sounds like a win for Trump if you ask me.

Yes.   I think he did this the day of Obama speech.  On purpose.  Deflating his own momentum and feeding his own ego.

Sucking up to russia like this... it's unheard of.   He's completely on Putin's d**k.

Nothing about this election is OK.  You have the two most horrid candidates ever.

So, in the context of THAT, the remark means nothing, since there's so much more bad.
