Won't be seeing this one in the news much.
The media is the number one reason for people's perceptions. Take getbig for example. I'm guessing most people's idea of interacting with other races is from news on msnbc or watching mtv. If you're given the same narrative over and over, it's hard not to be slanted in your views.
The media will take the Michael Brown story and hammer it for a month. It creates a backlash from white people, simply because you get tired of hearing the same narrative over and over (increase prejudice). Black people are thinking, oh...this shit again...damn whites are racist. Keep going with the circle. Many folks here eat it right up.
How old do you need to be to see the holes in most of it? Many are astute enough to see the media bullshit with most topics, but why would race not fall into this.
At least be racist by using your own true life lessons. Actual interactions with people many times over, before watching a news feed and judging. You would think many on here had their mom and sister raped by 4 black guys, then bullied in school by a black guy, oh...then raped again in the locker room themselves.
But none of that happened...just select news stories spewed over and over.
This post will yield nothing.
