What do you mean?  ???

Good question.  Like everyone else who talks about 'genetics' around here, I haven't a clue.

Just expressing disdain for fear of unlikely outcomes.

These chicks dont want to accept where they actually sit in the food chain.  To them its not fair - liberal entitlement mentality.

It's almost as if the homosexuals who are overwhelmingly in the media are trying to trick women into thinking the world is a safe place and that they are equals in the world. Why? So more women get killed and the homo's have more cock and balls to juggle.

Glad I don't have whatever bitch ass gene makes people think like this.

but you go to the movies, right?  You go out to dinner places, right?  Out to clubs?

Every now and then, there are shootings at places like that.  statistically, sure, it's not likely.  But if it does happen, no matter how strong you are, no matter what a trained fighter you are, there is nothing you can do to stop a person with a gun who is opening fire.   Except hit the ground and fire back.

Yeah, and you could say the exact same thing about a billion other irrational fears which, for whatever cause, you don't happen to feel.

There's a possibility you will trip going down some stairs and break your neck... Better not take any stairs!

You might crash into a drunk driver, better not drive at night!

Someone might punch you in the back and explode a kidney, better keep those spinal erectors tight every time you walk somewhere in public!

Etc.

I see your point.  We all wear a seat belt because it improves our chances.  We all enjoy various levels of caution in minimizing daily and long-term risks.  For me, whether I'm driving thru a crap neighborhood or just sitting in a soft target busy theater, the gun is a nice way to improve those odds.

This happened a few years ago in San Diego.  Some guy raped and killed a couple girls who were joggers.  One was average looking and the other a Blonde Blue Eyed cutie.  When the first girl went missing no one cared, but when the cute blonde went missing it was a media frenzy.  The whole city cared at that point. It's sad that they base their empathy on the looks of the victim.

It's like anything though, look at Kim Kardashian. People follow her and other celebrities because they're good looking. The only anomaly is Steve Buschemi and the Honey Boo Boo family. People care about good looking people. It's sad but true. Humans are shallow.

this is truth

when have you seen ugly fat girls being raped reported in the media?

yes, it may happen but I would say it is a rarity

NYPD solicits DNA samples from men who frequent Howard Beach park where Karina Vetrano was killed
586

Denizens of the overgrown Spring Creek Park, where Karina Vetrano was raped and murdered Aug. 2, were asked to provide a voluntary oral DNA swab as the hunt for the killer continued.

Cops, armed with a viable DNA sample from the suspected killer, are looking for either a hit leading to the fugitive or a miss that would eliminate suspects.

“In any major investigation, if we have DNA evidence and we’re trying to exclude possible suspects and we have their DNA on file, it would be compared,” police spokesman Stephen Davis said Wednesday.

Jogger who survived attack shares her steps to run safe
“If we don’t have their DNA, we can ask them. We can’t force them, but we can ask them, and we’ve done so in this case.”

Despite the severity of the victim’s injuries, detectives believe there was just one attacker, in large part because only one DNA sample was recovered at the scene.

The New York Civil Liberties Union said the man-on-the-street DNA hunt raised questions.

“We are concerned that police requests for DNA will be understood to be demands,” said New York Civil Liberties Union Associate Legal Director Christopher Dunn. “They should follow normal practice and get a warrant.”

Mass. police urge caution; hunt for NYC jogger’s killer continues
The NYPD tried a similar tactic while trying to nab an upper Manhattan rapist back in 2009.

Detectives trying to crack the Vetrano murder were also looking more than 200 miles away for possible clues in the case, officials said Wednesday.

NYPD investigators have reached out to Massachusetts State Police, sources said, to see if there are any parallels between Vetrano's unsolved strangulation and the murder of jogger Vanessa Marcotte.

The victim, her body partially burned, was found dead on Sunday in Princeton, Mass. No connection between the two deaths has been made, officials said Wednesday.

Fear fills meeting at Queens church to discuss jogger's murder
Philip Vetrano, father of the Howard Beach victim, said the two slayings were “totally unrelated.”
Marcotte, a 27-year-old Google employee who lived in New York City, was visiting her parents in Princeton when she was killed during a jog, officials said.

Her burned body was found in the woods about a half-mile from her mother's home.

On Tuesday, the reward for information leading to Vetrano's killer was increased to $20,000.

Anyone with information on Vetrano's murder can call CrimeStoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

I've got an M&P bodyguard and a Ruger LCP.  I think they're perfect carry guns, plus they're inexpensive

Right from the comments in that video...

"Mine jams . I bought two of them. One works fine, the other wont slide in with out hitting the magazine release. I will be releasing a video on it on Monday. I am far from an expert but even lil ol me knows this gun is a Smith & Wesson failure"

I wouldn't give my DNA. Police officers are known for pinning crimes on innocent people if they cannot find the true suspect. They get heat from the commissioner and mayor to produce results. When they don't, they will charge anyone.

And once the police have your DNA, they ALWAYS have it. Who would trust any police station with their DNA? Not me!!

exactly.  Whoever solves that gets a major career boost, more money and prestige.  Do I trust someone isn't going to cut corners and cheat with so much to gain?  No way.

Exactly. And even if they don't do it on this case, who knows if they will really dispose of your DNA after the case is solved. 10 to 1, they keep your DNA. Who knows what purposes they will use it for. I do not trust ANY police officer/station to have my DNA in their possession.

probably.  They probably make it voluntary but require name/ID for everyone who refuses... putting them on the suspect list of course.

I would of thought her beloved employer Google could of contributed a $1 and made this $20,001
