14 years old is about 8th or 9th grade. Check out the jr. High and High school football teams in parts of Texas/Florida/Nebraska...Plenty of 14-15 year old kids that use juice...Tons of stories out there of teenagers walking into hardcore gyms in the 80's and finding out in a hurry what most of the guys in the gym were using. Hell in the early 90's the TV show Beverly Hills 90210 had an episode of juice in the High School.  The reason they make a show like that is because juice was rampant across the Country. Can't even fathom what it's like today with the internet and kids understanding that everyone in college/pro sports are using and had to use to make it in their sport...

Our high school football team was introduced to Anadrol and Dianabol at Grade 10  (Thanks Chris Benoit)  So we would have been 15.

But I agree with a severe punisnment...I think a lotsa money may work fine.

For criminals money wouldn't be a determinant to stop crime. The amount wouldn't matter because if it were astronomical they'd never be able to repay it. You're applying the logic of a rational person, a murderer isn't going to be logical.

Large fines may lower drinking and driving and other "preventable" crimes but even in that case it's unlikely because the danger element of dd should be enough of a risk to avoid it.

Criminals aren't in a position to think logically like someone with a "secure and stable" life. They either value the reward to risk ratio, make drastic emotionally charged decisions or are sociopaths.

The punishments for violent crimes should be severe. Monetary fines aren't worth the paper that they are printed on.

What do you suggest ? Corporal punishmen ?  Or Death for all,of them ?
