I find it weird how some are shocked that someone as massive as pro bodybuilder will eventually loose size in huge quantity if he plans to live past his 40s.

Ronnie was always a big dude even when he was natural this is him in high school but the surgeries he over the years would have shrunk anybody.

Kevin Levrone hasn't trained in 13 years and is 52 AND has had 2 surgeries (torn pec and torn tricep). So, that debunks your theory. The real answer is severe nerve damage, massive quantities of GH and severe palumboism.

That just means you were not in top shape regarding your potential in younger years.

There's no serious sport in the world where top athletes would be old.
Of course it is possible to run 100m fastest in your life at 50 yo if you were 250 lbs with 40% bodyfat in your 20's.

The guy did it too himself AFTER he retired.
He kept an almost Olympia level (injured) physique 3 years after retirement
instead of slimming down and using lighter weights.
Here's 2010.. 3 years after retirement.
