Author Topic: Need an idea for a quick trip (Read 1862 times)

Been busy with business interests in Dubai and I would like to go somewhere that can be done in 5-6 days, a long weekend. I'll be flying out of BWI or Dulles so I was thinking UK or Iceland because it would be a "quick" trip as the flights are around 6 hours. Any ideas from euro getbiggers? Thanks in advance.

Southern England is enjoyable. Stonehenge. Brighton is fun. I stayed in the countryside (hay wards Heath!i think) drank with the locals, caught a 3rd tier football match. Good people. Food sucked.

Northern England/Scottish Borders area is beautiful and there are hardly any pakis or darkie like there is down south

The UK wouldn't be too bad...

Timing will be interesting. Iceland is already getting a little cold around now, although, considering where it is, it's not too terrible.

I wouldn't wait much longer though. I went in the summer some years ago and I always had to have a jacket on.

This is probably the choice. I thought about Oktoberfest but it's just a hair too far for a long weekend and I've already been to Germany this year. I'll probably make a post in the UK forum to get some ideas of places to hit while I'm there. Going with the wife so low key and safe is what I'll be looking for.

I thought about Canada too. Some of the areas remind me of Europe.

Most of Europe is a shithole. Although if you just have to go, Iceland or the Norwegian west coast is probably a good bet.

Or in short, just go where there's as few nigs and immigrant scum as possible and you should be fine.

fly to Prestwick and hire a car or go to Edinburgh for a day or two then out to highlands or borders. Pitlochry is nice, or you can drive to Fort William in a few hours.

Stopped right there, cleared my history cookies and caches, restarted PC, did full PC scan, reinstalled windows and moved out of my country.
