Billy Beane needs to go. I am done with this sabermetrics bullshit. You can't continue to comprise your roster of "numbers guys" and "prospects" if you have not won anything since 1989. Sure, we have been semi-competitive, making the playoffs here and there, with largely no-name rosters, but it has not worked.
Why did we let Donaldson go? He is someone you build a franchise around. I grew up watching the Bash Brothers, Rickey and Dave Henderson, Dave Stewart, Eckersley.....Tony La Russa as an all-time great manager. Was I just spoiled as a kid?
