Tebows MLB workout
« on: August 30, 2016, 03:43:22 PM »
Maybe someone could explain to me what this douchbag scout meant by "he's not in baseball shape".

6.76 60 and 9 jacks tells me otherwise..

On the radio, I heard people saying his flexibility isn't up to baseball standards. That could be what they meant.

He did look a little tight in the hips during BP. Easily corrected.

I just watched the video in the link of him working out.  What's with his hipster  trainer rattling off all these exotic names for what is basically an incline press, dumbbell rows, one-armed shoulder press, etc. ????  Is this result of the hipster era of crossfit trying to "invent" trendy exercises now??  ugh

Another chance for Tebow's fanboys to pretend he washed out of major sport because of his beliefs.

Somehow the NFL gives super-religious Russell Wilson so much love, but not Tebow.   Odd.

Tebow should just take up bodybuilding and get it over with.   Lost any ounce of elusive/escape ability when he bulked, and it cost him his chance to be a 3rd string NFL QB.   Oh, that and the shitty way he SKIPPED A GAME with the jets because he was butthurt they didn't start him.

Tebow is the epitome of the "ME" generation.  Always has to stand out, always has to be the focus, has no chill to him.  Could have let the Alabama QB suck for NYJ and would have been a logical choice for backup the next season... instead, he whines and skips the game and washes out of NFL as a result.

If he wasn't religious, you would call it like he is... a great college athlete that washed out of the pros.  Period.

Tebow looks huge out there.

Yes, his hips looked tight. His swing is all shoulder and arm. If he could get the the torque of his hips in on the swings; he'd kill the ball.

Looks like Tebow is a lefty. Imagine him at Yankee Stadium with the short porch in right field. Or even at Fenway.

tebow just sucked in the pros. That is all. He is trying to stay relevant. If coach would take tebow's nuts out of his mouth for a second, he would see that.

He's an underrated athlete.  38.5 inch vert at the combine and an ironic 6.66 3 cone drill.  Those are some great times/numbers for a 240lb white kid.

I hope you have a good imagination because the only way he gets to either stadium is with a ticket or a press credential.

When did he ever skip a game as a Jet?  Tebow is the real deal.  Guy is sincerely a nice, hardworking dude.  I went to UF.  2006, his Freshman year when he was the talk of the town my buddy spotted Tebow walking with some other football players.  He asked if he could get a pic with him.  Tebow said sure but when my buddy went for his phone, he realized he didn't have it.  He thought he had it in his car but then realized it was back at the dorm.  He went back to the dorm to get it and by now literally 15 minutes have passed.  He walked back to the area he saw Tim, expecting him to be long gone and he was sitting on a bench by himself, waiting for my buddy.  He's a stand up guy. He's not one of these fake good guys.

When did he ever skip a game as a Jet?

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow was so frustrated when the starting job was conferred upon Greg McElroy early last week that he told the coaches he didn't want to be used in any Wildcat packages Sunday against the San Diego Chargers, multiple Jets sources told ESPNNewYork.com.

my bad, he didn't 'skip' the game - he showed up for the game check but refused to play.   All that ego.  it's all about him.

Everyone knows Tebow is a good guy. If you're too good of a guy then they trash you for that and if you're a loser you get trashed for that. Guess people like the middle ground...

It's obvious that 240 is threatened by good people.

He's a great person.  Just not a great pro player.  Two separate things.  Mother Teresa would suck out outside linebacker, but she was good people.

"He was disappointed, there's no question, he was disappointed he was not named the starter," Ryan said. "I'm not going to get into private conversations that I have with players. It was my decision to use Jeremy Kerley in the Wildcat, without question. I'll say this: I believe if Tim's number was called, he would've went in and played -- I don't think there's any doubt about that."  That's the HC speaking.  All you provided was heresay.

Where does it say he refused to play ?
