When u guys send someone a text....how long do you expect before you should get a response? Me personally, if i have my phone with me i text back usually within a couple minutes of getting it.

Im noticing lately that when im texting someone(usually women and younger) it takes them hours sometimes if not the next day to reply. Fuckin annoying

If they want your D, they'll text u right back. They also usually don't text back while they're busy getting the D from someone else. All things considered, you should probably lower your sights a bit. You'll probably find that the 3s and 4s of today will text you back more quickly.

Text reply time is how I gauge if my girlfriend is ticked off at me.  If she's ticked off at me for whatever reason, she will almost always intentionally wait a few minutes to reply back to me.

if you are better looking than the woman in question youll likely get an immediate response, equal or lower than her she will reply when she feels like it.

You can't even dedicate one hour to working out without jerking your phone off. 

Women are lonely by nature, so it's more understandable...but grown men texting every 2 minutes. 

Pick up your phone and say what you need to, then put it down.

Turn off "read" reply, then they wouldn't know you read it yet.
Anyway, it depends on the person and time:
Business person during normal work hours, as quick as possible
Personal  during normal work hours, you can wait until after work or lunch time
Business person after work hours, you can wait until business hours
Personal after work hours and before 9pm and after 9am, pretty quickly
female during work, before a couple hours
female after work and before 9am, as soon as you have a good response

Do the folks you text not have lives beyond texting? Do you not have one?

I don't expect a response until the person I texted can reply safely and without breaking the law. Whenever it is convenient for them to get back to me is fine.

In Oregon, it is illegal to text or otherwise use your cell phone when operating a motor vehicle as is the case with most states. Texting while driving is illegal in 48 states.
