Trump left UNDEFINED the 11 million illegals who are here - but who aren't committing major crimes.
Can anyone tell us where he said what happens to them? It's easy for him to yell "no amnesty", but will he just let them keep living in the shadows as they are now? He said we'll kick out those on welfare, those on expired visas, and those who have done violent crimes - but what about the others?
well, it is estimated that 40% of the 11 million undocumented immigrants overstayed their visas, so right there he says he's going to kick out 4.5 million people. The ones that can stay are the ones who walked across the border I guess.
on the other hand, very few undocumented immigrants are on welfare.
"People who are in the country illegally do not qualify for food stamps, welfare or other public benefits. Most of these programs require proof of legal status. In addition, legal immigrants can’t receive these public benefits until they have been in the U.S. for more than five years."
the only ones who might be on welfare illegally have really really good fake documents. Finding them and proving the documents are fake will take some doing.
Trump says end "catch and release". That means he wants traffic cops to act as immigration officers.
