Agreed. As to why? Have some free Taffin Broscience:

The recent Rio/Caster Semenya situation reminded me that some women are naturally 'hyperandrogenic', a condition that seems fairly logical when you think of the bell curve and all that. It's also more common than I would have guessed (although Semenya with her internal testes is a rare extreme case.)
So, leaping to conclusions with zero proof (!) I'm thinking that if endogenous T is high to start with, this might be why some women (Gates/Murray/Massino/Cadeau) see lower virilization than others (Rutkowski et al.) and so return to a relatively 'normal' state - they were pretty 'alpha' to begin with...
