YoY for most of the economic data has been bad.

The stock market makes a nice facade and dopes like to jerk off to the U-3 number without considering context but it is what it is. Electronic breadlines as far as the eye can see.

If a company employs 500 people full time at a living wage with benefits they could cut them all back to 20 hours a week (bye bye benefits and probably also a pay cut) and hire 500 more people. Now, with not having to pay out so much they can say "we've created 500 new jobs and profits are higher than before!"

Good point...but the problem is denial will set in once they see the numbers....Obama simply is not allowed to get ANY credit for ANYTHING in the eyes of our resident right wing nutcases
