I don't think Beckles was anywhere close to 55 when he took 2nd in the O. He was born in Barbados, didn't have a birth certificate or knew when he was born, very common in the island back then. I remember Flex doing an article on this where they guessed his age & estimated his DOB. It was a good marketing ploy to claim he was 55. Maybe one of the old times here will have that article or better info thane far I just provided.
