For all the training and dieting advice Blaha gives, he should be looking A LOT better than he does.
I'm not saying he's wrong about the science, but he's never applied any of this to himself. What happens in a lab isn't always what happens in the wild. He gives these blanket statements and fails to mention that everyone is different and need different stimuli to gain similar results. If he can work out once a week and get huge and ripped, then why not do it? And if he is doing it, then its clearly not working. Just like he claimed being vegan will get him shredded. Just like he claimed keto will get him shredded. Just like he claims now that high carb and low fat won't put on any appreciable amount of body fat on you. He says all of this, yet has never actually succeeded in anything physique related.
I know I know "He's a powerlifter, not a bodybuilder. He doesn't care if he looks like a pregnant mammoth." Well, in that case, don't give advice on how to lose bodyfat or be a bodybuilder or build an "aesthetic physique".
