Kevin had one of the greatest physiques ever.  Amazing genetics.

But
Kevin was the definition of all drugs.  Shrink every year, live on the protein and greens and super supplements for 4 months, then shrink.  

He never had that foundation of muscle you see in a Ronnie or Kai, or even a Phil Heath now.  Guys can't shrink then just blow up anymore.  

Levrone was awesome, but there is no better example of being dependent upon the added things. Without them he held no muscle.

 Dude I got news for you you're dead wrong.  Every guy up there is the definition of all drugs and none of those guys have anything called a foundation that's a total myth.  For example Cutler was slamming drugs in his teens.  The only thing that changes is the response to drugs with age.

I am no Phil fan but he simply does not blow me away.  He had no posing oil on (at least this year he wasn't orange with the tan) and his midsection is a mess.

I think most of us were rooting for Kevin, but knew he couldn't get back to 100% of his best. After seeing him today, his upper body is about 85% and his lower body is about 60% of his best. They would not be able to gift the come backing star in this case like they did in '80 and '81 because there are too many other competitors. Kevin looks great considering the lack of serious training and short timeframe, but there is no way he is close to top 10. Phil's structural flaws are noticeable like always, but nobody up there combines the mass, cuts and structure to unseat him. I think Rhoden looks better than Phil, but he gets crushed from the back. Ramy looks pretty damn good, but honestly looks a little small in the arms. Bonac looks great but his height hurts him. Roelly looks crazy...almost like a cartoon he is so big, but he is too smooth and his lower abdomen ruins his physique. I'm guessing...
