Biggest thing I think that is underestimated in these types of situations is momentum, a year or so rest can be productive, more than that counter productive, I think he could improve on this year, but seeing him up there reminded me there is no substitute for momentum and the year in year out training and competing guys do, once you have sat idle for to long as he has I doubt he will ever get back in that groove again, and also the fact hes in his 50s, I wouldn't want to be manipulating my hormones on that level at that age too much, the bodys well past the youthfull healing stage.
