What would have happened if the teacher would have just walked away? Would have the kid still punched him? We will never know, since each time they were "broken" up, the teacher squared up again. This is how the school board will see it. Guarantee they will ask him, "Why didn't you just walk away instead of continuously fighting?" Whether we think this teacher was justified is besides the point: all the school board will see is a teacher squaring up with the student each time they were disengaged. He will lose his job.

How about this, there's still some open space in the US.

Create all black schools, with all black teachers, mayor, governor, in an all-black area / town, the works. (Gated community of sorts, like Manhattan in Escape from New York)

Let them build their own society with saggy pants as dresscode and hip-hop on the curriculum.
