Classic Bodybuilding standards are different from MPD standards. One is bodybuilding where the goal is to get ripped and the other is physique which is to exemplify a "perfect physique". HTH.

I think the classic criteria isn't looking for the super conditioned look, the judges want that 70's look of Zane look, a nice balance of muscle and conditioning, which I think Sadik has, no doubt if they are judging by modern bodybuilding criteria the black guy smokes him, but classic is a different category.

I agree to a certain extent, but Hester the winner isn't really that marketable, obviously Sadik is, but politics and marketability do play a roll in every category especially at the O.

Has anyone ever heard of a bodybuilding contest in which the judges' decision was totally accepted by one and all?

I can't recall one! Non-acceptance goes with he game and in its own way ... makes it more popular/interesting than it actually is.

And once again, it's a big error to judge the outcome of a bodybuilding  event by simply looking at the contestants' photos.

It's almost something like comparing the Mona Lisa that I 'drew' to the Mona Lisa the original artist painted. (Bad example but some GetBiggers will get the idea.)

And it also offers another topic to argue about.
