And how would you know that gimmick seeing you only registered last month?

How do you know this?
If you scroll down to the bottom of the forum home page, look for the little bar that says forum statistics.

Look for where it says newest member. If that name changes, then obviously more accounts have been approved.

How do you know this?

It's not the first time he's "handled a batch".

Everyone knows I raised some concern, when accounts suddenly started being approved almost daily. However, I also thought that Ron's normal policy of waiting months for a handful of accounts to be accepted, was a bit antiquated.

So what do we have to show for approving all of these new members? It appears as if most of them are veteran posters, who are simply using these new accounts in a self serving manner.

"Do you remember this guy?"  "What happened to that guy?"  "I think I will make 5 useless threads today!"

Go fuck yourselves.

That was a dreadful film, even by Shamalot standards.  Mel was sleepwalking and you got hairlip phoenix rounding out the field with his standard schtick.  2 hours of are you suspensed yet?  By the end I was rooting for the aliens.  Please come and kill these boring mutherfuckers.

Come on, aliens!!

The key concept with what you're saying is "most", not "all".  This is a necessary evil of having more open registrations.

And given that this board has largely been the same people having the same debates for about the last 5 years, regardless of whether there is a 10:1 ratio of gimmick to new, the board was desperately in need of this.  If Ron has consented to open registrations, it's because he recognised this.

If veteran members want to waste their free time making gimmicks and playing roles, fine.  It's really quite simple.  Anybody who just registered is presumed gimmick until proven otherwise.  It has always been like this.  The board has always had people wasting their lives away, pretending to be someone else.

That being said, I would be in favour of swift ban to any account that wants to be known as knowing getbig history AND be a gimmick.  Either play the role fully or get out.

Says the account who tried to act like they died in a car  crash to get attention on a message board

^^^ should be gone.

I fully admit to being a gimmick, although of a rather boring meaningless account that didnt post much anyways. Can I stay?
