Guys, those who have not the first course behind, what supplements for liver protection do you use?

I would suggest NAC (n-acetyl cysteine), cysteine is the rate limiting step in gluthathione synthesis. NAC is the antidote for acetaminophen overdose as most hepatotoxins cause cell death in liver cells ultimately from excessive ROS. The glutathione boost lowers REDOX in the hepatocytes (liver cells) and because the liver is able to regenerate the reduction in damage has a two fold effect.

Milk thistle isn't as good, haven't looked into the lit on it for a long time, someone else might have more input.

I've been using Milk thistle for some time now (2 250mg scoops taken ED), quite cheap and effective as a liver detoxifer from what I've experienced so far.

Dandelion Root tea is a traditional liver tonic.

A combo of Milk Thistle Extract, L-Glutathione, and Alpha Lipoic Acid has been reported to revive dying livers. More so, if you can find a holistic doctor willing to deliver them in combo, via IV solution

thanks guys!
It would be great to use just milk and Dandelion Root tea... but certainly special drugs will be needed also.

This. My liver enzymes are always fine when tested.

While it will help protect your liver, the active component in Milk Thistle effectively reduces nuclear androgen receptor levels and down-regulates several androgen-regulated genes primarily by inhibiting the transactivation activity of the AR, and can also inhibit nuclear localisation of the androgen receptor.

Milk Thistle will also have an inhibitory effect on the insulin-like growth factor receptor-mediated signaling pathway. All in all, there seems to be a reasonable expectation that this stuff is anti-anabolic. It's a real loser to include during a cycle. A much better alternative is Prunella Vulgaris, which has been shown to protect liver cells and activate the Aryl hydrocarbon receptor, thereby allowing it to work as an anti-oestrogen as well.

As long as you're going to take oral steroids, you may as well take a liver protector that isn't going to hinder your gains.

Thank you for this information. I've relying on Milk Thistle for several years now. I'm definitely going to look into getting some Prunella Vulgaris.
