Rick Collins who represented him and many steroid users/makers knew of his involvement in operation raw deal.  Fucker was creating clients for himself.

Yep

Until he had a heart attack and fell into the pool and died

Was always a nice guy to talk to, but was very suspicious at times, sold steroids out of his truck at a 24 hr fitness

That's how the story went but this revelation makes you wonder about his death.

What's there to wonder? He was a massive drug abuser and a massive piece of shit. It comes to you as some degree of mystery as to why he died??????

EL DIABLO..... Thanks for mentioning Rick Collins.

The following paragraph is a cut and paste from his website .....

"Rick Collins is the country’s foremost legal authority in the area of performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) and supplements, having defended cases involving steroids, human growth hormone, peptides and other anabolic substances from coast to coast. "

Ric is a very interesting lawyer who wrote a very interesting book which I read from start to finish with a shitload of interest and I recommend it highly to any natural or supernatural bodybuilder, weightlifter, or plain old everyday roid user  (respectfully stated of course).

The most interesting part of this well documented and informative book is the detailed part which describes why and how steroids became a felony over the objections of the AMA and a small handful of others with no objections made by anyone within the muscle-growth related world.

I strongly suggest that all serious GetBiggers read Rick's book .... especially those GetBiggers who find themselves in some serious business with the law in regards to the use of roids.

So if Gronk gets out of jail and "falls into a pool", we'll all know why...

Is that how he saves all of his clients from going to jail? Quick, call the DA and work out a snitch deal!

So Art Atwood never would have fallen into a pool if he never contacted that lawyer and just did his time?

EL DIABLO, To the best of my knowledge there is no PDF format of LEGAL
MUSCLE available.

Based on my long term memory .... here is the short version of the most interesting part of the book regarding the decision to make it a felony.

1. A Naval Academy student tried out for the football team but did not make it.

2. When his father asked, 'Why?" .... the son stated that you had to be on steroids to make the team.

3. The father was a US Congressman.

Nun said ...... but it was interesting that the American Medical Association (AMA) was  one of the only major entities who objected about the 'felony' issue. As far as I can recall , no one else wanted to  'get involved'.

Or something like that.

In most of the cases that I am familiar with, the offer to 'go easy' in court is initially offered by the arresting officers for the 'culprit' to consider.

And I believe that that offer is discussed with an attorney before it is accepted.

I'm not aware of any attorney advising an individual to 'rat out' others involved, but Im sure it's a definite possibility.

Once upon a time  .... One good friend of mine was 'ratted' which meant  a jail sentence of two years, because he refused to disclose  the others involved. (A very large number of others BTW!)

He even refused to testify against the girl who ratted him out and set up the details which lead to his arrest.

Now he  has a new life as a major internet Personal Trainer making big bucks.

And he lived happily ever after.
