Prime Dorian was unbeatable. Having brought more overall mass and granite conditioning than anyone ever before. Better than Arnold's prime. Drove Arnold out to make silly comments regarding Dorians personality that made Arnold come off as petty. Probably mad too that he spoke well of Mike Mentzer and his training protocols.

Still had really subpar biceps even at that time (pre-tear). Look at Mike Mentzer in that pic who is proud of his HIT protege in that pic. Tragic what happened to him and his brother in their late 40's. PIP boys.

IMO '97 Dorian had some very good points. It almost looked like his back improved in some shots. If not for the injuries, he would have improved on his '93 form for sure.

Yates did not over-diet in 97. Plus he had carbed up fully.

Unfortunately he had torn his tricep a few weeks before the show.

yates just didnt have the greatest arm shape, yeah he had some guns but they never had that roundness and were never that pleasing to the eye, he did have a nice side tricep.  The rest of  yates was top notch.
