Aesthetics mean nothing. Neither do the guts becuase standing relaxed with guts out is not judged. Yates kept his waist tight during the judging and that's all that matters. Everyone posts these stupid relaxed, exhaling pictures, either in between poses which isn't judged, or after the show, which Yates has already won!
Shawn Ray could bit all he wanted about the bloated gut in '94, but guess what it wasn't bloated during the mandatories....

GMC, Yates looks like shit there. If Ronnie or even Jay competed against him when he was in that condition....

......it would be third place for the Brit. He sure is cut and dry in his off stage pics, but onstage he looks like crap from the front. His arms are smoother than a baby's bum. His legs have absolutely no cuts in them. Only his back, which I admit is awesome, won him these shows. Besides that, he absolutely had one of the ugliest physiques straight on. It is unbelievable his back is so impressive, because from the front he was schooled by everyone from Nasser to Dillet to Levrone.

If Dillets brain was height, he would be as tall as lee preist or shorter... ok ALOT shorter

as usual once, ALL angles are considered, yates is the winner. remember, he is known for looking better in person and on video than in pics. if you've ever seen a contest with dorian in it, you know this.

I never understood why people failed to notice just how ugly Yates's physique was. The quads were an abomination. They always post these black and white pictures, as if contests were judged in by black and white precontest pictures

yeah, but at least the pics of Yates' gut are onstage. Most of the Ronnie-bashers use pics of him drinking water backstage as ammo

nice try ND- we all know that Ronnie's waist was tiny at the AC. Dorian's waist was as wide as Lou Ferrigno's.
