Former Republican National Committee Chair Michael Steele has a very straightforward take on the second presidential debate:

The tweet comes after Steele suggested to Mother Jones’ David Corn that Trump is nearly irredeemable, specifically due to leaked audio from 2005 in which Trump bragged about sexually assaulting attractive women. (“Grab them by the pussy,” Trump said.)

“This is a devastating blow to the Trump campaign and to the party, and there is not much either can do to salvage it,” Steele told Mother Jones before the debate. “It almost doesn't matter what Trump does in the next debate.”

Clarify the question, from looking at the sequence, the three debates go CBS, CNN, then Fox affiliated moderator(s). So looking at it you get moderate, then left leaning(CNN skews about 60% democrat), then right leaning. One supposes that they did it this way to appear fair, but CNN is still going to lean left, just as I suppose the Fox led one will be right leaning. We will know in the next few days, but it's fool hearty to just go by the CNN polls.

I personally just watch them on PBS.

I just mean that it seems there's a lot more CNN moderators or people affiliated with CNN than the other networks or whatever these days.

I agree that the next week will be the more determining polls. They will speak much more on what the people perceived.

Trump was much improved this time around... I wouldn't say he won the debate, (then again I'm biased), but he was miles better than the first one. 

Sure, I know he's got his true supporters but I also keep seeing that some people are voting for him purely because they really really reallyyyyy hate Hillary.... but if that is the case why not just go for Gary Johnson?  At least, a lot of what he says actually makes sense? (Isn't that what Arnold is doing ?)



Side note:. This is the first year that I'm actually eligible to vote (I became a US citizen in late 2012), and I just registered last week...
