I used to believe that until I read Nate Silver's analysis.  He convinced me that national polls are indication of what will happen in various states.  

That said, I do agree that things are volatile.  Even Silver said late last week that the possible outcomes still include everything from a Hillary landslide to a Trump win.  Crazy.

I think the average is kind of likely at this point... About 5-6 points.

That's just a rough guess. With the way this election is going, with a +- of 3 to 4, it could be as low as 2 points overall. Or hell, she could straight be losing. I really wouldn't even know at this point.

Her track record is not horrendous (albeit not entirely perfect either), but she was heavily involved in the success of the mission that killed Bin Laden..... it was also her policies in the State Department that saw an increase in exports to China by over 50%.... progress in Burma.... the toughest sanction ever seen on Iran that actually brought them to the negotiating table.

Ok obviously I'm not implying Hillary was at the front lines here... Nor am I implying it was her idea... But amongst much if not all of the cabinet members Hilllary was the one who pushed the president, who was very skeptical, the most stating that based on the intelligence, this was a very solid plan and she was right.

Hilary is at the same numbers obama had in 2008 at this point.   She's up +7 in rasmussen.  It's probably been a week since Trump led in any poll not called "LA Times", and even Hannity admits they're skewed right. 

See, this is why Repubs lose.  They don't see -14 to Hilary and realize their candidate is immature shit and a change needs to be made (pence!).  Rather, they just pretend the polls must be wrong, and nobody really thinks their candidate is immature, shady, sexist, or just plain ignorant. Nope, they ignore and doubt all the polls, until election day.

My big nose has been in his country for almost 20 years (legally btw).... But I finally became a citizen in 2012.  I'm voting for Hillary, and I registered as a Democrat... But that doesn't mean I would never vote for a Republican.  I just so happen to believe that Trump is just not the right person for the job...... I actually liked Mitt Romney a lot (I liked Obama more) but had Mitt been  the president instead I think it still could've been a very good thing. Shame he is not running this year.

I could've seen myself being somewhat undecided at this point between Mitt and Obama... But this year it's pretty clear cut for me who I want to be president.

Setting aside the absurdity of some of the things Trump said (some being blown way out of proportion) I don't believe that just because a person was a successful business man that automatically means he will be a great president. That's seriously like comparing apples and oranges. At one point you need to have a certain understanding of policy and politics that I think Trump just lacks.
