listening to the tape... im not sure, i cant see how he is accused of murdering her. Both of them were douches, thats besides the point, but its just a simple case of two douches getting drunk ( and it seems that she was either on some other type of drug, or had a few screws loose medically, as in being chemically imbalanced). I say that based on the way she sounds and is incoherent and just talks like shes not in this world or aware. Then she goes in a rage and shouting frenzy... As a guy, its just a shitty situation:
1) Either call the cops and say "hey i have this chick over shes a little bit crazy can you guys escort her out", which is just fucking wierd thing to do
2) kick her out of the house ,presumably forcefully, since she seemed like she was becoming violent, and in that case you'd probably be arrested for assault and harassment
3) if she goes on the balcony, lock the door behind her and let her cool off for a second, i mean who in their right mind would think she would jump off the balcony?
having said that, it seemed the guy wanted her to leave, and she says she wanted to leave, so why go to the balcony?
