Define Gimmick?

I have had conversation via private message with another poster who has accused me of being a gimmick. Now, as far fetched as it may sound on this board, this is an initial offering of an account for me. Of course this is not to be believed, but I know it true and thats what counts.

Now, regarding this other posters accusing me of being a gimmick. If a present poster makes another account and posts he/she is a gimmick. However, how can an original account with a screenname (not being their real life name) not be called a gimmick. This other poster has stated I would cower in fear in real life from them and other things if I encountered them in real life. But if this account stays behind their screenname and never states their real identity and location,is this not a gimmick displaying empty threats behind the protection of a computer keyboard?

I would never, however, look for an encounter of the negative kind with anyone from this forum. My only point is how is a person not a gimmick if they throw around big words and threats on a forum behind a screenname?
