Phil is just arms. In fact, he is all arms. Phil represents the drug culture of Coleman taken further. Size for the sake of size and when taken to this degree on a tiny manlet sized frame it is all the more apparent of what Phil is. He is a very little man with a ridiculously big ego matched only by his drug intake.
Contrast that with Dorian whose physique was large, defined and far more complete. Complete? I would say so and I am no fan of his. Like Haney and Coleman, Phil tries to pass being a man of deep religious conviction. All three are farcical in their supposed faith, preferring the path of the smellivangelist type preacher, e.g., "thankyew Jayzus" and whatever sponsored supplement they are schilling at the moment.
I have no idea what happened to Phil's wife but she may have died of shame. Coleman? What number wife is that idiot on now? Haney? Presents himself well and I really don't give a hoot about his supposed "character" after seeing him lie about drugs and claim he was all about the "Weider supplements", not drugs. A typical liar. Worse yet, Wiggs thinks the world of him and that should speak volumes about the physique and character of Haney.
Yates at least admits to taking drugs but what and how much we may never really know and to be honest, that only matters to those that think such "knowledge" will help them out on their personal road to dialysis. As for wives, Dorian doesn't seem to discuss that and so it probably doesn't matter much to him. He is happy in the moment and looks to be settling down.
In closing I will say this - Dorian presents himself more as a man of the people and Phil shows himself to be nothing more than one of the peephole.
