Not a hardcore MMA fan but is it normal for Rousey to face Nunes after she was beaten by Holm last year (who was beaten by Tate who was then beaten by Nunes)?

MMA is really for the generation nothing folks with ADD who can't focus their attention on something for more than 2 minutes.  Hence why they have new champions every month.  While it can be exciting at times, it often turns into a wrestling match.  The wrestling ability is impressive nonetheless, but not fun to watch.  On the striking end of things, they really are just hacks who don't come anywhere near the level of top boxing or muay thai guys.  All of this combined with the fact that anyone with a bit of celebrity status, such as CM punk, can get on a UFC card, I have basically tuned out.  I prefer the refinement of pugilism or world class muay thai.

She has zero striking skills like Royce Gracie. The game has evolved. Submission wrestling that dominated UFC 1 has changed  and now for the women too. You need both striking and submission now. Rousey only has one game.
