I live in Thailand for long enough to understand what is happening in this thread.
A good Thai girl from a good family will almost never want anything to do with a foreigner. Thai girls who are with foreigners are generally looked down upon by Thai society and can bring shame to the family and lose face. Good Thai girls want good men who they can communicate with in fluent Thai and understand them and their culture, and are accepted by their family and peers, you know, an actual Thai man.
Would a good American girl want to date or be seen with a foreign man of a different race that barely speaks English? Only crazy, desperate, ugly, whorish American women would do this. It's the same in Thailand (even more so because western media promote race mixing in USA, unlike in Thailand).
Most Thai women who go with foreign men are:
1. Prostitutes
2. Former prostitutes
3. Single mothers
4. Old
5. Ugly
6. Poor and desperate
7. Crazy
8. Party girls with loose morals.
9. She doesn't like or gave up on Thai guys (or Thai guys don't want her for whatever reason. It's like when black guys go for obese white girls because white guys don't want them).
10. Golddigger
No good respectable Thai girl from a good family would be seen dead associating with foreign tourists in foreigner bars in the tourist areas. It's social suicide. When they go to bars to have fun it is mainly Thai bars that only Thai people go to and very few tourists go to.
There are of course exceptions to the above.
I've lived there too and visit regularly.
I disagree with a lot of your points though.
If the Foreigner doesn't look or act like a sex tourist and isn't a sex tourist, then there is no lose of face for the Thai.
Also, for others reading this, the red light districts do not represent Thailand. Most Thai's are quite conservative.
