I believe it's from the leadup to the 2006 Olympia... the first one he lost to Cutler.

I believe he he had torn his lat prior to that show. Big as hell, but his shape was rapidly declining.

I spoke to Jay a few months before he won the 2006 Olympia. He told me that Ronnie had a lot of tendinitis and possibly some nerve damage.... but Jay said that he didn't believe that Ronnie had any torn muscles (there were rumors that Ronnie was injured based on some of a few of Ronnie's guest posing appearances).

People were saying he tore his left tri, but I think it was down in size due to the nerve damage, and the bursitis in his elbow gave the illusion that the muscle insertion shortened
