Why doesnt Phil Heath complete more often
« on: October 24, 2016, 10:24:02 AM »
All the previous mr olympias would complete in the grand prix or a few other competitions after the olympia but phil heath only completes in the mr olympia nothing else, is it that he cannot peak more than once a year, you would assume that it would be easy money for a mr olympia and he would just walk into the contests after the mr o and collect the checks.

Because he absolutely sucks at hitting his peak more than once per year. Kai should have beaten him in Grand Prix shows but such is life.

And you can imagine his meltdown if big ramy or one of those guys beat him, but you cant be one of the greatest if you can only peak once every year.

It's been known for years now that Phil can't peak on several occasions throughout the year and if you really think about it he really doesn't care to compete more than once. Imagine if he does compete during the year and loses? The temper tantrum he would do on stage would be crazy lol.

I think you will find that most Mr Os rarely competed outside the O.
Haney only once
it was Yates who started the ball rolling.
