Weight is meaningless you can be 300lbs just by eating. Many obese women are 300lbs+ with little muscle mass.
Not speaking about the catastrophical health consequences of this either.
I actually have conflicting thoughts on this. Anyone who's between 5'2 and 5'6 (average female height in North America) and weighs 300lbs+ MUST have a good amount of muscle under all that fat. Imagine lugging around 300lbs at that height, its like a constant workout, assuming you don't just sit in bed all day like those "My 600 Pound Life" people. I come from an obese family (on my dad's side) and you can see it in my build. Wide hips, big calves, big joints, and a very hard time getting lean. My grandpa was an Olympic weight lifter (never actually made it to the Olympics, though) back when Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union, and he was easily 350lbs. He was one strong mother fucker, and I can't help but think its because he was lugging around all that weight outside of the gym.
