The three contenders in the top photo are damn impressive and would most likely do damn well in today's NPC/IFBB Classic Physique events.

Back in the day what is known as a classic physique today was often  referred to as' functional muscle' - which a lot of military members who were interested  in physical fitness and aesthetic muscle growth attempted to achieve but seldom maintained due to the routine military style of living and obligations.

These NABBA contenders appear to be what the future of Classic Physique may turn out to be.

The ukfbb make my blood boil, fucking cliquey bastards.... My 1st Brit final,i remember being dragged over the stage and dressed down by that cun.t head judge the year they banned dream tan, got told id blown it and they placed me 6th

Later in the the day Paul George won his class and was almost green he had so much on...


If I ever dusted my thong off id go with nabba and try other feds, fuck the ukfbb, they spend 4 or 5 hrs judging men and womens bikini and rush the bodybuilders on and off without them even doing individual posing routines

BeThere/Local and a handful of others ..... There seems to be an awful lot of complaints from contenders and fans regarding various decisions made by most of the bodybuilding federations.

That decision regarding the Dream Tan incident sounds somewhat absurd and I wonder what the rational behind that decision was.

Did the promoter or the federation have their own tanning agents or was it simply that Dream Tan proved to be unhealthy for human application?

Years ago when I was a decision maker and if anyone complained about the judging process, I'd invite them in to sit in at the official table and become what we called a "TEST JUDGE" and then sit-in and observe when and how the score sheets were tabulated.

It worked well because those 'test judges' never complained again (at least not to me anyway).

If I had the opportunity I'd recommend that each bodybuilding federation choose one official of that federation to respond to any and all complaints made by anyone involved  .... and that includes the fans and each GetBigger via the internet or otherwise

In many instances there are good reasons why an unpopular decision is made and once the 'WHY' is disclosed.... most of those who complain depart with a happy smile on their face.

But then we got GetBiggers who most likely never smile at all.

But they sure as hell can LAUGH a lot on this here GetBig Board!

So I guess everyone is eventually happy no matter how they see it or what the outcome is.

here is the overall winner from the UKBFF show, the level of conditioning is a world away from the NABBA guys.

Actually he is known for his size and shape,his conditioning is usually a bit off

I cant stand the ukbff (hierarchy - to many run ins with them)
But there level of quality & depth in the classes at the finals is
so much better.
Did you go to both shows.?

saying that the PCA is gaining ground & are tying up with Nabba
using there judges & rules -- Hope fully it will result in good things
for the competitors.

I know Dean Lesiak 4x 90k winner 2x nd place ect is going over to
PCA as UKBFF wont give him his Pro card.!!

He trains in the wrong gym & associates with some one they dont like..

Agree. The top 3 in the tall class at NABBA were actually in better condition than the top 3 in the UKBFF superheavy class this year

I couldn't believe the last ukfbb show I attended, may as well drop bodybuilding all together and just go with men's and women's bikini....

They should put all the fairy's on last, instead of fucking all the bodybuilders off .... No one is getting judged properly after the judges have sat through hrs of men's and women's bikini, who no one even knows how to judge anyway

Yes- well summed up. It's outrageous how they treat the bodybuilders now.

The problem with the judging is the undisclosed marking for which gym they come
From & how connected to the judges / hierarchy - this can elevate an also ran in to
The top 3+ . 
I judged a few EFBB shows as a newbie - judging certainly has changed -
tho the above has always Existed to some extent at some shows -
I have made them aware if I new or had helped a competitor
 - I was still asked to judge - I found it easy to judge by sticking to the rule book
Criteria - But Hard to keep the rose tinted glasses from affecting my decision.

Imagine all the money and effort one spends only to be fucked up by the judges who "judge".
There should be a governing body within the IFBB that controls such affairs in the national affiliates.
