Russia is somewhat swapping places with USA these days.

People exposing US wrongdoings go seek asylum and help from Russia.
You can be manly man in Russia. Best part being women just like it.
You can drive huge cars in Russia with cheap gasoline and no greenfuckers harassing you.
No emission taxes because Russia doesn't obey orders of global elite.
Smaller probability to become murdered by police.
14% flat income tax - earn 1000 dollars or billion dollars a year. It's up to you.
No wiretapping of common hardworking, tax paying citizens.
Etc etc

So if Seagul is standing up to these ideals, he could very well be patriotic. But just doesn't like what America has become.

Where I stay tax is minimum 18% and maximum 41% and will all go up again next year.

And that's excluding tax on interest above a certain level (also 18-41%), 'capital gains tax', property tax, inheritance tax, fuel tax etc.
