I don't think he sees more than 2 years in prison, probably suspended sentence or less. She attacked him, he used equal force in defence, walked straight away once threat was over.Finding this man guilty seems like lunacy in my eyes. This idea that we are all chuck Norris's and Bruce Lees where we can all control our punches, where we hit, how much power etc is nonsense. She went all out, could have killed him, he stopped the threat before she could do more damage.Case closed.
It's case closed in your mind, but that is not how the jury will see it. Answer me this: If it is that cut and dry, then why did a man receive a manslaughter charge when he killed a MAN ENTERING his home (happened last year). Yes, a man entered a guys home, the guy shot the intruder, and guy was charged with manslaughter. And this guy was protecting himself and family. And you think this kid is going to get a slap on the wrist because she hit him in the face first? haha lol. Heck, as I stated before, in NYC youre charged with murder when you kill an intruder, until proven it was 100% self-defense. Again, you think hes only going to get 2 years because she hit him in the face?

Either way, the jury will not see how you're seeing it. Again, this happened in the NorthEast, not in the South. It's way different in the South than in the Northeast. You europeans do not get how much different this stuff is between states.
Edit: 1-2 years ago, some old dude shot and killed two teenagers who entered his home. He got LIFE in prison and these 2 kids were going to rob his home. And you think that hes going to get 2 years if he killed her because she hit him in the face? ahaha lol. The logic on getbig is astounding. Again, its not so cut and dry with your "case closed."
LITTLE FALLS, Minn. — A Minnesota homeowner who killed two teens during a break-in was convicted Tuesday of premeditated murder and will spend his life in prison without parole.
Bryon Smith, 65, had claimed he was defending himself during the break-in at his home in this city of about 8,000 on Thanksgiving Day 2012.
