Our media here in Australia is absolutely gobsmacked as to how he managed to win (admittedly, I didn't think he'd win either). Even now our media is coming out with how he's rude, racist, misogynist, he sexually assaults women (i.e. 'grab them by the pussy' comment/banter from 10 years ago), and so on, yet they ignore all the legitimate criminality and corruption of Hillary, and the fact that WW3 would have been a real possibility with her as president, but none of that matters because "it's time for a woman to be president" and "Donald Trump said mean things"; it is amazing how completely delusional and out of touch they are.
To Trump's credit, he took on the Democrats, Republicans, mainstream media, social media, rigged campaigns, and SJWs/PC culture and he still came out on top. I'm not sure any other Republican candidate apart from him could have handled being constantly dogpiled like that for so long without being broken.
I think Hillary as president would have been a disaster, but I have no idea how effective Trump's going to be. He's talked a big game, but I really hope he can deliver; throwing the Clinton's in prison would be a good start.
