Russia is ready and looks forward to restoring bilateral relations with the United States, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, commenting on the news of Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election.


In a message to Donald Trump, the Russian President expressed hope over the joint efforts on bringing Russian-American relations out of their current crisis.

Putin also expressed confidence that the dialogue between Moscow and Washington, in keeping with each other’s views, meets the interests of both Russia and the US.

I'm looking forward to their first meeting. It will tell a lot.
It won't probably take place as official state visit due to current situation but on sidelines of some international event.

They are not going to be buddies because both have plenty of hawks to keep happy but if they can work out a deal not to interfere with each other on taking out muzzies, I'm ok.

Make it a huge show - superbowl or olympics of nukes. This will win hearts of common people.
 
If it's too sensitive to expose the latest nukes, use the old ones which both have plenty of. It probably costs millions to dispose one nuke -> taxpayers will win too if old nukes are dropped on middle east instead.
