I came over prior to this election for some debate and to read other views.
Some posts, threads were informative , but my overall experience was pretty negative.
I'm 58 years old and allowed myself to get involved here and on other forums for awhile now.
Many replies are personal insults or an attempt to ridicule me or my ideas.
I honestly don't understand why, but, I do know it's the nature of most forums.
For example, just yesterday, I met a regular poster on another BB forum.
He came up to me, in my new gym and asked if I was Howard .
Unlike forum interaction, he was friendly, polite and funny.
It was a VERY positive experience and we both enjoyed meeting.
I'm no bad ass , big man or anyone to fear.
BUT, without exception, meeting and interacting in person is a totally different experience .
I'd sincerely like to meet guys like coach, TA, etc ,face to face and have some actual dialogue.
If you see me at a future BB event, please come up and say hi.
For whatever reason, that rarely happens.
So, I'm going to use some self-discipline and limit my amount of forum interaction.
Melting down or taking this forum stuff too serious is insane.
Thanks for listening and let's all wish our new President the best.
