I've always been independent and take shit from all sides LOL.

For example, this election I voted Hillary but picked republicans for everything else.
Conservatives call me a libtard and liberals call me a redneck  racist LOL.

For example, in the gym last week, an older female was wearing a Hillary '16 shirt and working out with her "partner."
I had on this old XXL Yukon Beer T shirt , old shorts and was doing 1 arm DB rows near them.

I could hear them saying something about the "crude red necks supporting Trump" .
During 1 intense set , I let out a couple soft grunts, then  racked the 120 lb DB with a little clanging.
They both glared over with this intense look of anger and disgust for me.
It was obvious, they had ( wrongly) assumed I was racist, Christian conservative, Georgia redneck .

I belong to the NRA and my wife has a concealed carry permit.
While we both believe in GOD, we don't belong to any church and are pro-choice.
I'm 100% independent minded and don't follow any party ideology.

People have this need to label you and check all the boxes before they talk to you.

And it's quite understandable... I've had the choices of Obama, McCain, and Romney in my young voting lifetime.

However, as Trump is already finding out, governing the country is vastly different from campaigning.
For example, on the campaign trail he can say ;" I want to ban all Muslims"
As President he can't, BECAUSE  it's against our  constitution ( 1st amendment)to ban any religion.

Saying it however, got people ginned up and enthused to vote for him.
It's effective politics but not practical in the long run.

A big turning point for me was political correctness going too far and the democrats embracing the SJWs. Also the war on white heterosexual men and masculinity in general.

I voted for lefties in the past, at a time when I had work only a couple of years and was still naive, their ideas seemed good aimed, though, I always found the lefties to be total pussies in general. I admit I don't come from a conservative background, I talked a lot with my relatives and I convinced a lot of them to rethink the whole concept of the "Left" and how bad is for a society in general.

I now believe, consciously, liberalism is a mental disorder and one of the most difficult ones to cure.
