Why would anyone bother with this pure piece of shit degradation to American History?  Aaron Burr being played by a black guy or a Muslim?  Really? Thomas Jefferson played by a black guy?

Pathetic.  I know its a homo musical but I just don't understand how anyone would even bother with this garbage.  Apparently they gave it awards as well.

I don't see why there isn't an uproar about this clear appropriation of culture. Imagine how the SJW's would be marching in the streets had an all white cast played the Tuskegee airmen.

T.A., I can't explain why the leading characters in Hamilton are payed by a black guy or a Muslim ..... but the opening lyrics in the opening song sort of asks a similar question.

"How does a bastard, orphan, son of a whore and a Scotsman, dropped in the middle of a forgotten spot in the Caribbean by providence, impoverished and in squalor grow up to be a hero and a scholar?"

That opening question is apparently answered on that stage over the next couple of hours ... and may also answer the question you have asked.

Although I am not the least bit pregitious (can't even spell it correctly) , I'd like to hear the reason why also!

But only if and when answered by the Hamilton producers!

There must be some valid reason for doing so.

I have no problem with a black man playing Alexander Hamilton as long as they stick to historical facts....which they obviously didn't.

I'd have to see it before I can say, "I hate it!" .... but regardless of some GetBig opinions/review of this Broadway production ..... it's a major success and loved by most everyone who has seen it.

BTW.... I understand that there are a couple of very impressive Hip-Hop / Rap numbers in HAMILTON.

That should really piss some GetBiggers off!

And ... OH YeA! I'm Swedish/Irish but I played the part of an Indian falling off a horse in a couple of those old Hollywood westerns.

Even rode off into the sunset when the principal actor was too damn drunk to get on that horse. And I looked nothing like that guy.

I wonder if it is weird for black Americans to watch all sorts of movies about the great events that shaped our nation and see that it was done mostly by whites. Not that it was their doing, as you really can't do anything when you're a slave, but I don't think it will ever be corrected for hundreds of years when there will be some events that blacks could contribute to. They weren't really allowed to fight in either of the world wars, and the country was founded by white Europeans, even if some of it was off the backs of slaves. It's really got to mess with you to see that. I think we should all go back to our respective homelands and give this place back to the Native Americans. Then, we wouldn't have to watch crap like this.
