I just took the time to watch Tbombz video. Here is my take:

Tbombz struggles to comprehend his religious beliefs as they pertain to whatever doctrine he is following at the moment, as do most folks who believe they have found "the way". He hopes to convince himself what he believes is gospel by explaining his current beliefs to anyone who will pay attention to him. He is coming from a good place and should not be ridiculed for his efforts.

What is sad to me is that this man is seeking something to help him make sense of himself and may never find it. The answer he is looking for comes from within and not from a particular religious belief or lifestyle choice (he's been though so many for such a young fellow).

What I see is not a bad person, but is a bewildered person. I hope he someday finds his true identity whatever it may be.

I imagine that finding out you are infected with HIV would be a real wake up call with regards to one's mortality. Most folks Tbombz age believe they'll live indefinitely. He may live a full life, but as it stands, there is no cure for HIV, just treatment via medications. I knowing you are at a greater risk dying does provide a wake-up call, then what would? He's clearly trying to make sense of his life so far.

I agree with you that Tbombz made horrible choices and ignored good advice. He isn't asking for pity. What's the point of rehashing his past mistakes? Many people in recovery "find" religion. If it works for them, who are we to argue?

His experience is a great example for others. The only reason he got HIV was because he didn't practice safe sex and not because he was gay, prostituted himself, sole money, took drugs, posted a photo of himself wearing a bunny suit and discounted well meant advice.

Tbombz, my condolences about your health crisis. Hang in there bro. It doesn't take one to believe in a god to have some compassion over another human being. Contrary to the religious nut jobs, most of us agnostics are decent, moral people and are not worthy of burning in hell for eternity - like for a mere unapologetic lascivious thought or slanderous intention. That is insanity.
