Candidates are not allowed to talk to people?  Clinton conceded on election night (i.e. right away.)

How do you think Trump would've responded had he won the pop vote but fell short in the electoral college?

Dude, she basically had to be talked into it. She didn't give her concession speech until the next day. How can you interpret that article any other way?

What matters is action, not what plays out behind the scenes.  She phoned Donald to concede.  Congratulating him on his victory before she hit the hay that night.

So, once again, do you think Trump would've done likewise had the situations been reversed (and he had won the pop vote and suffered 1% defeats in crucial states?)

Exactly, what matters is action, tangible things. Donald won, so your argument/insinuation that he wouldn't have conceded is moot.

When are people going to realize that we are most certainly NOT a pure democracy.

We are a Representative Republic.  A form of democracy, sure.  But not a pure democracy.

Clinton didn't do the calling or the conceding. Huma Abedin took care of that.

Also, this is a fundraising scam.

Plus, MI doesn't use electronic voting machines. If anything the gap will probably grow.

You mean the fundraising for a "recount" where the money "may not necessarily be used for a  recount" is a scam?

A man on Reddit predicted the exact minute that Jill Stein would reach the 4.5 million dollar fundraising goal.

She is getting donations from George Soros (most likely), at the tune of $160,000 per hour just to cause turmoil for Trump.  I'll look for the link.

Also, notice how there has been a huge increase in Police shootings as of late; tons of false flag protests/ accusations too (see below  ;D )

So, in other words, the rich, elite rule, and the average citizen has pretty much zero power.

Whether or not someone is happy that Trump won, people just need to accept his victory and move on.

Bingo!

Jill Stein and her Green Party are spending a lot of cash $$ to prove what?
Ok, she actually got 0.89% instead of 0.88% of the vote in Wisc?

Update: Clinton campaign to participate in the recount.  I wonder if Trump goes after her now that she's poking the hive.

C'mon, concessions at that level of political endeavor are merely an expected formality. It's not like it would hold up in court. A concession can be retracted, such as it was in 2000. If there was voter fraud (hacking) and it is proven that Trump did not win in those 3 states, all hell is gonna break loose.

MI uses optical scans and paper ballots, good luck "hacking" that.

The electronic machines aren't hooked up to the internet.
Plus the Clinton campaign already admitted to doing a large lost election investigation and found no evidence of any "hacking." That's why they didn't peruse a recount themselves.

I hope you are right. The last thing we need right now is another upset. Trump winning the election has resulted in too much angry protests already. How funny is it that a large percentage of the protestor's are not even registered to vote. Frankly, I think they should shut the fuck up.

Hillary's concession still stands.
but, in defeat, wouldn't it be nice for her to win the popular vote by 2%?  for posterity.

Not really.  If the rules were that popular vote elected the President, the outcome could have been entirely different, for all the reasons already discussed.

Yes, the results could have been entirely different if the two campaigns weren't chasing 270 electoral votes.

Nevertheless, the 2016 discrepancy in the margin between the popular vote winner and the electoral college winner is still quite the anomaly.  Only 4 times in 58 presidential elections has the president-elect lost the popular vote.  That's like putting a .069 hitter up to the plate and the batter getting a base hit.
