Over on Mayhem, some fellow - NUTEBOY-called out another member - FENRIS - about mixed martial art fighting- saying that he could beat anyone . or some such thing. He apparently didn't know that he was talking to some upper level fighter/promoter. ( at least this other fellow knew a MMA fighter in the bodybuilders home city who would step up to the plate )

A fight was arranged with shone Carter who is a very respectable fighter. Seems that Shone did a number of backroom brawls back in the day. He is a fighter now in the UFC or some other MMA event promotions. Someone who follows this on a regular basis will be able to add more information about Shone.

His latest matches haven't all gone his way however.

Anyway, after making all sorts of noise about how big& muscular he is and that this was more then enough to beat anyone, this NUTEBOY guy chumped out, offering some lame excuses. Nothing ever came of it although it was fun to read. The thread is probably still there. Search ShonIe Carter and then you'll be good to go.

It was on a radiopodcast as Shone Carter was interviewed about the fight.

The guy that backed out is still on the boards - I think- but for a while it seemed that he came up with a new handle and posted under that one as well as his old one.

REgarding Guy and Ernie:

Guy made a comment on a website about Ernie's obvious use of Synthol or whatever in his inner thigh and possibly his triceps. Gundy even posted pictures showing what appeared to be some elliptical object in Ernies thighs. This object - whatever it was/is- was going in the opposite direction of his muscle's normal structure. If it wasn't synthol then he had a package of gummy bears in there. In both thighs!

The comment wasn't hateful and was really rather innocuous but bodybuilders being bodybuilders, Ernie took it to heart. I think that Ernie was over defensive as 1. the comment may appear to hurt his career- maybe he was thinking that the Synthol thing wasn't obvious. 2. He has to deny the use of everything.

Ernie made quite a stink about those comments- essentially calling Guy a pansy or something . I think it got to a point where Ernie said something much worse about Guy. Gundy has never denied his use of Synthol and it cost him a major win.

The fight was arranged but for whatever reason, never happened. That particular fight- over whether Ernie uses Synthol as he maintained then that he doesn't use Synthol- notwithstanding pictures to the contrary- seems foolish. Ernie clearly uses Some sort of oil in there and its no big secret now. Perhaps it was a big deal then.

There was a guy secretary when I called up. I didn't curse at no woman. I asked nicely where was Guy Grundy at first but he was bullshitting with excuses saying he's in a business meeting or something. When I started chewing him out, he ante up Guy's cell phone number.

And Grundy's lying about giving me a call, there was only one message on my phone...AFTER I ALREADY GOT HIS CELL NUMBER FROM HIS STAFF. And it was pretty lame if you ask me. For someone who is suppose to be pissed off at me, I would have expected a little more heat. I might just put it on a wav file and let everyone else be the judge
